Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Printed Books
about 6 years ago – Sun, Feb 11, 2018 at 12:12:16 AM

I apologize for the lack of updates. Between finishing the NPC section for Champions of the Spheres as well as Andrus: The City of Men, I was quite busy, and there was unfortunately a lot of decisions to be made.

I wanted to do a large print run for Spheres of Might, but after reviewing the printing services available as well as the actual number of books ordered, we were having trouble finding an option that fit our needs that we could afford. In the end despite how much I want to do the sort of enormous print run we did for Spheres of Power, there simply aren't enough books spoken for to justify it.

As such, we will be using Lightning Source, a print on demand service, to print the books. We'll need to wait 1-3 weeks to get the proof copies back from them, and then we can start sending people out their books immediately.

Thanks for sticking with us, and again i apologize for the delay; I didn't want to announce anything until I was sure what the best option was.

Thanks,

Adam

Champions of the Spheres!
over 6 years ago – Fri, Dec 01, 2017 at 12:15:52 AM

Everyone who should get a copy of the gish book should have just gotten their Drivethru RPG codes. The book is here!

The gish book, which we have titled Champions of the Spheres, includes 3 classes not found in spheres of might, gish feats, and unified traditions for ease of character building.

We still have to send you physical books, but at this point all of the PDFs for this campaign have been sent out. Thank you to everyone who's helped us reach this point, and for a great kickstarter campaign.

Gish Archetypes
over 6 years ago – Tue, Oct 17, 2017 at 07:40:34 PM

Responses to Spheres of Might have been amazing; thank you to everyone who has helped us to make this book and to spread the word!

A few issues have been found in the text, so we are preparing an update before the book gets sent to the printer, but while we wait to make sure everything has been caught, we turn our attention to the gish book, which we have decided to title "Champions of the Spheres".

While the new classes have been in playtest for quite a while, there is one part of the book that hasn't had eyes on it yet; archetypes. With the rest of the book so close to being done, we would like to show these archetypes to you for a quick playtest, hopefully to be done in a little under two weeks so we can get this second book together out to you quickly.

The archetypes can be found here; as always, commends are appreciated!

Spheres of Might PDF is out!
over 6 years ago – Thu, Oct 12, 2017 at 12:18:43 AM

All of  you who are owed the PDF should have gotten an email just minutes ago with your coupon. If for some reason you haven't gotten an email from Drivethru RPG, please let me know.

We're not done yet; we've got the gish book and the SoM print run to worry about, but for now its time to sit back and celebrate. Thank you all so much for helping us bring this book to life!

Prodigy, Starfinder, Seven Seraphs, and More
over 6 years ago – Wed, Aug 23, 2017 at 05:19:38 PM

A few points of information that might interest you:

The Prodigy in Playtest

There is one class that will be featured in the gish book that never made it to the open playtest: the prodigy. The prodigy, like the magus, is a class designed around the idea of mixing martial combat with magical powers, but rather than dual-wielding, the prodigy makes use of combo links, moving from sequence to sequence until it finds the exact right moment to unleash a finishing blow.

You can find the prodigy here, and we would love to hear your thoughts!

Starfinder

Starfinder is out, and it's been REALLY well received. As I understand it, they brought extra to Gen Con, and still sold out the very first day.

We were always planning to write up something about adapting Spheres of Might to Starfinder, but with a response like that, i don't think it can wait. If at all possible, we will be including information on adapting the two systems to work with each other right in the Spheres of Might main book. Just thought you should know.

City of Seven Seraphs

With Spheres of Might wrapping up, several members of our team have moved on to new projects, including Lost Spheres Publishing's newest kickstarter, City of Seven Seraphs. This kickstarter is for a planar metropolis city guide, and it looks awesome. If you know Planescape, City of Seven Seraphs should look familiar to you, and if you don't know Planescape, check out City of Seven Seraphs because you don't know what you've been missing.

Release

There is very little left for us on this end, so I am expecting Spheres of Might to be ready for layout by the end of the month. Thank you all once again for helping this project to happen, and I can't wait to show you what we've created!

Thank you,
Adam
